Joffrey Smeets

Sports physiotherapist — Cross-Rehab, Lausanne

bio

I'm a physiotherapist specialising in athlete rehabilitation. My practice, Cross-Rehab,

is located inside the JSC CrossFit gym in Lausanne — a deliberate choice: rehab doesn't

stop when the pain fades, it continues until you're back at your previous level. And for

that you need a gym, not just a massage table.

How I work

Everyone arrives with a different story: an operation, an injury that lingers, a pain

that returns with every session. I take the time to understand yours before proposing a

plan. Treatment combines manual therapy and active work — and the program evolves with

you, session after session.

My patients often say it themselves: I don't look for the quick fix. I'd rather make you

independent, with sound movement patterns and a body you can trust.

• RME-registered (Registre de Médecine Empirique) — recognised method: classical

massage. Reimbursement may be possible through complementary insurance depending on
